Ever planned of having a multi-scissors haircut? Go to Dimona, Israel and look for the small beauty salon of hairdresser Danny Bargil. Recently, he set a Guinness World Record of performing multi-scissors haircut by cutting a woman’s hair using nine pairs of scissors. Last May 6, 2008, he tried to break his own record with ten pairs of scissors in honor of Israel’s 60th anniversary celebrations. Watch his video after the jump. (more…)

I took this picture of Joyce Jimenez using my Sony Ericsson K770i Cyber Shot after her taping in our school last time. She’s not only sexy and beautiful but also, she’s nice to us.
“You are so cute,” “I like your outfit,” “You have beautiful and tantalizing eyes…” Hearing these compliments especially from people you do not know are truly gratifying as if you hit the jackpot in a slot machine. Neurologically, hearing compliments is the same as winning money according to EurekAlert. A research group in Japan conducted an experiment on 19 people with monetary and social rewards. The acquisition of one’s good reputation robustly activated reward-related brain areas, notably the striatum, and these overlapped with the areas activated by monetary rewards. These results strongly suggest that social reward is processed in the striatum like monetary reward. At this point, we can say that getting money is equal to hearing compliments. So next time you hear somebody telling you “You look good today,” just say “Thanks for the money!”

It is really fun playing with your office chair especially during break or when you feel tired seating in front of your computer. That is the reason why Germany conceptualized a racing contest using only an office chair. The first German Championships in Office Chair Racing took place in Bad Koenig-Zell on Saturday, April 26. According to Reuters, 70 participants took the chance to bring their office chair out into the sunshine and put it through its paces. The only uniform rule was the obligatory crash helmet - and many people needed it. Dozens of the racers fell off their chairs, and many chairs didn’t make it to the end of the 170 metre race intact. Painters are really artistic and resourceful. Some combine water and coffee powder instead of using the usual color paint. Others use their hands in painting instead of using paint brush. But this one is really unusual because instead of using his hands or feet, he uses his tongue to paint. According to Reuters, Ani K of India is a drawing teacher who drew inspiration from a fellow artist who painted with his foot. However, learning his craft was not without its dangers as he suffered headaches and nausea from the paint fumes. Eventually he mastered the art and is now able to finish one canvas in 3-4 days. Last time, I shared a funny story of an old lady who thought her car was stolen by four males. Today, I will share another article but I will leave the verdict to you if this story is funny or misfortunate. Read the digital image of the news after the jump. (more…)
I first heard the “Naked Vlog Campaign” when I stumbled upon the video of Retarded Mango who was tagged by a cute girl. Tagging has been a popular trend in You Tube but tagging somebody to do this naked vlog campaign may sound ridiculous. However, I can’t see anything wrong with this because this campaign is just for fun and I’m sure YouTube is very sensitive regarding this matter so if they see something indecent, they will not allow the video to be posted. As a matter of fact, this campaign already appeared in the Featured Videos of You Tube. On the other hand, this campaign reminds me of Global Warming. We all know that the earth’s temperature is increasing every year because of human and industrial activities. For me, the “Naked Vlog Campaign” is a movement against pollution not only in the air but also in the minds of people.
My favorite TV Show, Survivor, is now on the Philippines. There is no other detailed information about this show aside from the fact that it will be broadcasted at GMA 7. GMA 7 has been popular for reality shows like Extra Challenge which is quite similar to Survivor. In my assessment, Survivor will be hosted by Paolo Bediones or Mo Twister. Survivor is a very popular reality television show in the world and I hope GMA 7 will not dismay the viewers. Anyway, we have beautiful islands and we are rich in natural resources so I think Philippines is the best place for this reality show.
