Today I will share to you my favorite desktop applications that I use frequently. I enumerated them below together with the links where you can download them for free.

Safari 1. Safari. Safari is the fastest browser I have ever used. I was using Internet Explorer 7 before but I switched to Safari after trying it. Like Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox 2, you can also have multiple tabs in your window with Safari but what makes it unique is that you can drag the tabs down to the bottom of the tabs bar to open the page in a new window. Also, the text and picture displayed in Safari browser are more condensed compared to IE and MF making your browsing experience more enjoyable than the latter browsers. Security wise, Safari promises of safe and secure browsing and it also protects you from intruders. For webmasters, you must follow the strict guidelines for you to be able to display your webpage correctly in Safari.

Adobe Photoshop 2. Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop is another must-have application especially for photographers and graphic artists. With Adobe Photoshop, you can enhance the pictures by manipulating it and correcting the colors. You can also use Adobe Photoshop to create your own graphics and designs. One of the benefits of Photoshop is that it expands your imagination giving you the ability to create an artistic masterpiece.

Notepad++ 3. Notepad++. Notepad++ is a great tool for programmers. Unlike the ordinary Notepad, Notepad++ has the ability to determine what particular programming language is encoded. It makes your codes organized because it indents the next lines of codes to where it should be placed.

Iconoid 4. Iconoid. Moving on, Iconoid is another must-have application especially for people with scattered icons on their desktop like me. If you do not have time to move or delete those icons in your desktop, then let Iconoid manage that for you. With Iconoid, you can hide the icons in your desktop as well as your taskbar making your desktop clean and pleasing to the eyes. With your icons and taskbar hidden, you can also enjoy the full view of your background picture.

iTunes 5. iTunes. iTunes is the best application for people who love entertainment. With iTunes, you can browse the entire items in the iTunes store, play samples, and see its popularity. You can also browse different podcasts and tune in to your favorite radio stations.
