It is really fun playing with your office chair especially during break or when you feel tired seating in front of your computer. That is the reason why Germany conceptualized a racing contest using only an office chair. The first German Championships in Office Chair Racing took place in Bad Koenig-Zell on Saturday, April 26. According to Reuters, 70 participants took the chance to bring their office chair out into the sunshine and put it through its paces. The only uniform rule was the obligatory crash helmet - and many people needed it. Dozens of the racers fell off their chairs, and many chairs didn’t make it to the end of the 170 metre race intact. Watch the video after the jump.
