Interesting News of the Week

Another week has passed and I cannot help but share some of the most interesting news that created a buzz this week in the World Wide Web:

Forbes.com reported that the world’s most expensive burger was offered by Burger King last June 18. Named simply, The Burger, it costs 95 pounds or 185 USD and can be bought exclusively in the district of South Kensington for two days only. The Burger is trying to beat the current Guinness Record for the most expensive burger, currently held by the American Double Truffle Burger (I’m thinking if this is available in San Diego restaurants) which cost just 65 pounds or 124 USD in 1994. The burger which has the same size of a regular whopper is made out of ingredients from seven countries from Japan to France. According to the news, the secret to its strong taste is the massaged Japanese Wagyu beef. All proceeds from the sale of the burger will be donated to help a London Child charity which will help children suffering from abuse and poverty.

A video of cellphones making popcorn intrigued some of us that we even tried it with our friends. Unfortunately, this video is just a hoax and its secret was revealed in this clip:

Yahoo.com offers two new email addresses. You can now get your new email address @ymail.com or @rocketmail.com with equally the same features as the old @yahoo.com. Thanks to Yahoo, I was the first one to grab the email address pacute@ymail.com.
