This is one of the images returned by the voyager described as a “pale blue dot” in the grainy photo.

Forbes.com reported that the world’s most expensive burger was offered by Burger King last June 18. Named simply, The Burger, it costs 95 pounds or 185 USD and can be bought exclusively in the district of South Kensington for two days only. The Burger is trying to beat the current Guinness Record for the most expensive burger, currently held by the American Double Truffle Burger (I’m thinking if this is available in San Diego restaurants) which cost just 65 pounds or 124 USD in 1994. The burger which has the same size of a regular whopper is made out of ingredients from seven countries from Japan to France. According to the news, the secret to its strong taste is the massaged Japanese Wagyu beef. All proceeds from the sale of the burger will be donated to help a London Child charity which will help children suffering from abuse and poverty.

I was very excited when I watched the keynote of Steve Jobs a while ago in CNN about the new iPhone 3G. Two features added to this iPhone successor are 3G and GPS. With 3G, you can browse the web 2.4x faster than its predecessor. For only 199 USD for 8GB version and 299 USD for 16GB, you can grab one for yourself and enjoy the features of an iPhone 3G. However, on the article I read in Yahoo, some of the most exciting iPhone 3G rumors failed to materialize. Some of these are the videoconferencing, additional iPhone models, and battery life. Even I was quite dismayed because this new phone doesn’t have a camera in front, a feature I expect from a 3G phone. Also, its 2MP camera is quite futile compared to a 3-5MP camera phone. On the other hand, 199 USD is really worth for a high technology phone like iPhone 3G. This will surely hit the market come July 11, 2008, the date it is expected to release worldwide including Philippines.
