In the news reported by GMA 7, a group of pastors and preachers belonging to different churches in Metro Manila filed criminal complaints against editors and publishers of popular men’s magazines and smut tabloids before the Manila Prosecutor’s Office. The Philippines is still conservative regarding this issue. As a matter of fact, the arrival of Playboy magazine in the country early this year was condemned by different groups. The complainants claim that these magazines and tabloids violated the anti-pornography law. Nevertheless, some believe that these magazines are forms of art and should not be banned in the country. Another week has passed and I cannot help but share some of the most interesting news that created a buzz this week in the World Wide Web:
Forbes.com reported that the world’s most expensive burger was offered by Burger King last June 18. Named simply, The Burger, it costs 95 pounds or 185 USD and can be bought exclusively in the district of South Kensington for two days only. The burger which has the same size of a regular whopper is made out of ingredients from seven countries from Japan to France.
